How To Uninstall quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent

Quantum is a virtual network service for Openstack. (openvswitch plugin agent)Ubuntu 12.04 LTSuniverse/net2012.1-0ubuntu4
sudo apt-get remove quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent

This will remove just the quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent package itself.

Uninstall quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent

This will remove the quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent

Or similarly, like this quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove quantum-plugin-openvswitch-agent
