How To Uninstall vdr-plugin-sudoku On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall vdr-plugin-sudoku just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vdr-plugin-sudoku

VDR-Plugin to generate and solve SudokusUbuntu 12.04 LTSuniverse/misc0.3.5-8
sudo apt-get remove vdr-plugin-sudoku

This will remove just the vdr-plugin-sudoku package itself.

Uninstall vdr-plugin-sudoku and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vdr-plugin-sudoku

This will remove the vdr-plugin-sudoku package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vdr-plugin-sudoku then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vdr-plugin-sudoku

Or similarly, like this vdr-plugin-sudoku

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vdr-plugin-sudoku
