How To Uninstall clamav-dbg On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
To uninstall clamav-dbg just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add clamav-dbgagain by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just clamav-dbg
http://installion.co.uk/ubuntu/trusty/main/c/clamav-dbg/uninstall/index.htmldebug symbols for ClamAVUbuntu 14.04 LTSdebug0.98.1+dfsg-4ubuntu1sudo apt-get remove clamav-dbg
This will remove just the clamav-dbg package itself.
Uninstall clamav-dbg and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clamav-dbg
This will remove the clamav-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for clamav-dbg then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clamav-dbg
Or similarly, like this clamav-dbg
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clamav-dbg
