How To Uninstall default-jdk-doc On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall default-jdk-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just default-jdk-doc

Standard Java or Java compatible Development Kit (documentation)Ubuntu 14.04 LTSdoc0.51
sudo apt-get remove default-jdk-doc

This will remove just the default-jdk-doc package itself.

Uninstall default-jdk-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove default-jdk-doc

This will remove the default-jdk-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for default-jdk-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge default-jdk-doc

Or similarly, like this default-jdk-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove default-jdk-doc
