How To Uninstall deja-dup-backend-gvfs On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall deja-dup-backend-gvfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just deja-dup-backend-gvfs

Remote server support for Déjà DupUbuntu 14.04 LTSutils30.0-0ubuntu4
sudo apt-get remove deja-dup-backend-gvfs

This will remove just the deja-dup-backend-gvfs package itself.

Uninstall deja-dup-backend-gvfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove deja-dup-backend-gvfs

This will remove the deja-dup-backend-gvfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for deja-dup-backend-gvfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge deja-dup-backend-gvfs

Or similarly, like this deja-dup-backend-gvfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove deja-dup-backend-gvfs
