How To Uninstall mauve On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall mauve just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mauve

free test suite for the Java Class librariesUbuntu 14.04 LTSdevel20120103-1
sudo apt-get remove mauve

This will remove just the mauve package itself.

Uninstall mauve and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mauve

This will remove the mauve package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mauve then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mauve

Or similarly, like this mauve

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mauve
