How To Uninstall postgresql-plperl-9.3 on trusty

To uninstall postgresql-plperl-9.3 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just postgresql-plperl-9.3

PL/Perl procedural language for PostgreSQL 9.3 Ubuntu 14.04 LTS database 9.3.4-1

sudo apt-get remove postgresql-plperl-9.3

Which will remove just the postgresql-plperl-9.3 package itself.

Uninstall postgresql-plperl-9.3 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove postgresql-plperl-9.3

This will remove the postgresql-plperl-9.3 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for postgresql-plperl-9.3 then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge postgresql-plperl-9.3  

Or similarly, like this postgresql-plperl-9.3

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove postgresql-plperl-9.3
