How To Uninstall strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2

strongSwan plugin for EAP-MSCHAPv2 protocol handlerUbuntu 14.04 LTSnet5.1.2-0ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2

This will remove just the strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 package itself.

Uninstall strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2

This will remove the strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2

Or similarly, like this strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove strongswan-plugin-eap-mschapv2
