How To Uninstall whoopsie On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall whoopsie just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just whoopsie

Ubuntu error tracker submissionUbuntu 14.04 LTSutils0.2.24.5
sudo apt-get remove whoopsie

This will remove just the whoopsie package itself.

Uninstall whoopsie and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove whoopsie

This will remove the whoopsie package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for whoopsie then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge whoopsie

Or similarly, like this whoopsie

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove whoopsie
