How To Uninstall yapps2 On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
To uninstall yapps2 just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add yapps2again by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just yapps2

This will remove just the yapps2 package itself.
Uninstall yapps2 and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove yapps2
This will remove the yapps2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for yapps2 then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge yapps2
Or similarly, like this yapps2
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove yapps2
