How To Uninstall nvidia-opencl-icd-304 On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall nvidia-opencl-icd-304 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nvidia-opencl-icd-304

NVIDIA OpenCL ICDUbuntu 14.04 LTSrestricted/misc304.117-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove nvidia-opencl-icd-304

This will remove just the nvidia-opencl-icd-304 package itself.

Uninstall nvidia-opencl-icd-304 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nvidia-opencl-icd-304

This will remove the nvidia-opencl-icd-304 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nvidia-opencl-icd-304 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nvidia-opencl-icd-304

Or similarly, like this nvidia-opencl-icd-304

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nvidia-opencl-icd-304
