How To Uninstall juju-mongodb On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall juju-mongodb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just juju-mongodb

MongoDB object/document-oriented database for JujuUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/database2.4.9-0ubuntu3
sudo apt-get remove juju-mongodb

This will remove just the juju-mongodb package itself.

Uninstall juju-mongodb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove juju-mongodb

This will remove the juju-mongodb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for juju-mongodb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge juju-mongodb

Or similarly, like this juju-mongodb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove juju-mongodb
