How To Uninstall jvim-canna On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall jvim-canna just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jvim-canna

Japanized VIM (Canna version)Ubuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/editors3.0-2.1b-3
sudo apt-get remove jvim-canna

This will remove just the jvim-canna package itself.

Uninstall jvim-canna and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jvim-canna

This will remove the jvim-canna package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jvim-canna then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jvim-canna

Or similarly, like this jvim-canna

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jvim-canna
