How To Uninstall kde-icons-mono On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall kde-icons-mono just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kde-icons-mono

monochromatic icons themeUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/kde4:4.13.0-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove kde-icons-mono

This will remove just the kde-icons-mono package itself.

Uninstall kde-icons-mono and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kde-icons-mono

This will remove the kde-icons-mono package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for kde-icons-mono then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kde-icons-mono

Or similarly, like this kde-icons-mono

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kde-icons-mono
