How To Uninstall naist-jdic On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall naist-jdic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just naist-jdic

free Japanese Dictionaries for ChaSen (replacement of ipadic)Ubuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/misc1:0.4.3-3.1
sudo apt-get remove naist-jdic

This will remove just the naist-jdic package itself.

Uninstall naist-jdic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove naist-jdic

This will remove the naist-jdic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for naist-jdic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge naist-jdic

Or similarly, like this naist-jdic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove naist-jdic
