How To Uninstall qdbm-cgi On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall qdbm-cgi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qdbm-cgi

QDBM Database CGI commandsUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/web1.8.78-3
sudo apt-get remove qdbm-cgi

This will remove just the qdbm-cgi package itself.

Uninstall qdbm-cgi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qdbm-cgi

This will remove the qdbm-cgi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for qdbm-cgi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qdbm-cgi

Or similarly, like this qdbm-cgi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qdbm-cgi
