How To Uninstall vcdimager On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
To uninstall vcdimager just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vcdimager

This will remove just the vcdimager package itself.
Uninstall vcdimager and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vcdimager
This will remove the vcdimager package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for vcdimager then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vcdimager
Or similarly, like this vcdimager
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vcdimager
