How To Uninstall vdkbuilder2 On Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

To uninstall vdkbuilder2 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vdkbuilder2

RAD for VDKUbuntu 14.04 LTSuniverse/devel2.4.0-4.4
sudo apt-get remove vdkbuilder2

This will remove just the vdkbuilder2 package itself.

Uninstall vdkbuilder2 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vdkbuilder2

This will remove the vdkbuilder2 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vdkbuilder2 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vdkbuilder2

Or similarly, like this vdkbuilder2

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vdkbuilder2
