To uninstall friendly-recovery just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove friendly-recovery
This will remove just the friendly-recovery package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove friendly-recovery
This will remove the friendly-recovery package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for friendly-recovery then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge friendly-recovery
Or similarly, like this friendly-recovery
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove friendly-recovery
