How To Uninstall numlockx On Ubuntu 15.04
To uninstall numlockx just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add numlockxagain by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just numlockx
http://installion.co.uk/ubuntu/vivid/main/n/numlockx/uninstall/index.htmlenable NumLock in X11 sessionsUbuntu 15.04x111.2-7sudo apt-get remove numlockx
This will remove just the numlockx package itself.
Uninstall numlockx and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove numlockx
This will remove the numlockx package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for numlockx then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge numlockx
Or similarly, like this numlockx
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove numlockx
