How To Uninstall postgresql-client-common On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall postgresql-client-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just postgresql-client-common

manager for multiple PostgreSQL client versionsUbuntu 15.04misc166bzr2
sudo apt-get remove postgresql-client-common

This will remove just the postgresql-client-common package itself.

Uninstall postgresql-client-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove postgresql-client-common

This will remove the postgresql-client-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for postgresql-client-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge postgresql-client-common

Or similarly, like this postgresql-client-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove postgresql-client-common
