How To Uninstall postgresql-server-dev-all On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall postgresql-server-dev-all just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just postgresql-server-dev-all

sudo apt-get remove postgresql-server-dev-all

This will remove just the postgresql-server-dev-all package itself.

Uninstall postgresql-server-dev-all and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove postgresql-server-dev-all

This will remove the postgresql-server-dev-all package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for postgresql-server-dev-all then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge postgresql-server-dev-all

Or similarly, like this postgresql-server-dev-all

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove postgresql-server-dev-all
