How To Uninstall kanjidic On Ubuntu 15.04

To uninstall kanjidic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kanjidic

Kanji DictionaryUbuntu 15.04universe/text2014.09.01-1
sudo apt-get remove kanjidic

This will remove just the kanjidic package itself.

Uninstall kanjidic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kanjidic

This will remove the kanjidic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for kanjidic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kanjidic

Or similarly, like this kanjidic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kanjidic
