How To Uninstall v-sim-common On Ubuntu 15.04
To uninstall v-sim-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just v-sim-common

This will remove just the v-sim-common package itself.
Uninstall v-sim-common and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove v-sim-common
This will remove the v-sim-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for v-sim-common then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge v-sim-common
Or similarly, like this v-sim-common
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove v-sim-common
