How To Uninstall sqldeveloper-package On Ubuntu 15.10

To uninstall sqldeveloper-package just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just sqldeveloper-package

Oracle SQL Developer Debian package builderUbuntu 15.10multiverse/misc0.2.4
sudo apt-get remove sqldeveloper-package

This will remove just the sqldeveloper-package package itself.

Uninstall sqldeveloper-package and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove sqldeveloper-package

This will remove the sqldeveloper-package package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for sqldeveloper-package then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge sqldeveloper-package

Or similarly, like this sqldeveloper-package

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove sqldeveloper-package
