Uninstall just iamerican-large

sudo apt-get remove iamerican-large

This will remove just the iamerican-large package itself.

Uninstall iamerican-large and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove iamerican-large

This will remove the iamerican-large package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for iamerican-large then this will work.

sudo apt-get purge iamerican-large

Or similarly, like this iamerican-large

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove iamerican-large
