How To Uninstall vlc-plugin-samba On Ubuntu 15.10

Uninstall just vlc-plugin-samba

This will remove just the vlc-plugin-samba package itself.
Uninstall vlc-plugin-samba and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vlc-plugin-samba
This will remove the vlc-plugin-samba package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for vlc-plugin-samba then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vlc-plugin-samba
Or similarly, like this vlc-plugin-samba
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vlc-plugin-samba
