How To Uninstall hyphen-no On Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

To uninstall hyphen-no just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just hyphen-no

Norwegian hyphenation patternsUbuntu 16.04 LTStext1:5.1.0-1ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove hyphen-no

This will remove just the hyphen-no package itself.

Uninstall hyphen-no and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove hyphen-no

This will remove the hyphen-no package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for hyphen-no then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge hyphen-no

Or similarly, like this hyphen-no

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove hyphen-no
