How To Uninstall nut-snmp On Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

To uninstall nut-snmp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nut-snmp

network UPS tools – SNMP driverUbuntu 16.04 LTSadmin2.7.2-4ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove nut-snmp

This will remove just the nut-snmp package itself.

Uninstall nut-snmp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nut-snmp

This will remove the nut-snmp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nut-snmp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nut-snmp

Or similarly, like this nut-snmp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nut-snmp
