How To Uninstall cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu

GNU C preprocessorUbuntu 16.10devel6.2.0-5ubuntu12cross1
sudo apt-get remove cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu

This will remove just the cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu package itself.

Uninstall cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu

This will remove the cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu

Or similarly, like this cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cpp-6-aarch64-linux-gnu
