How To Uninstall gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf

GNU C compiler for the armhf architectureUbuntu 16.10devel4:6.1.1-1ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf

This will remove just the gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf package itself.

Uninstall gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf

This will remove the gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf

Or similarly, like this gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gcc-arm-linux-gnueabihf
