How To Uninstall gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu

GNU C compiler for the powerpc architectureUbuntu 16.10devel4:6.1.1-1ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu

This will remove just the gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu package itself.

Uninstall gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu

This will remove the gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu

Or similarly, like this gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gcc-powerpc-linux-gnu
