How To Uninstall labrea on yakkety

To uninstall labrea just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just labrea

a "sticky" honeypot and IDS Ubuntu 16.10 universe/net 2.5-stable-3

sudo apt-get remove labrea

Which will remove just the labrea package itself.

Uninstall labrea and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove labrea

This will remove the labrea package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for labrea then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge labrea  

Or similarly, like this labrea

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove labrea
